Seiyuu to Yoasobi 2026 Season Has Begun: Junya Enoki and Yoko Hikasa Join the Cast!

ABEMA's beloved voice actor variety show Seiyuu to Yoasobi (Voice Actor and Nightlife) opened its doors for the new season on April 20, 2026. The program, which surprises its fans by refreshing its cast every April, has brought together the most popular names in the industry this year as well. The biggest surprise of the 2026 season is that voice acting stars Junya Enoki, Yoko Hikasa, and Kikunosuke Toya are taking the main host (MC) seat for the first time.
Aired continuously since 2018, Seiyuu to Yoasobi has become one of the most iconic contents of Japan's digital broadcasting giant ABEMA. The program's format is based on a different duo or trio of voice actors playing various games, cooking, and having intimate chats with fans during live broadcasts every weekday evening. The program, which has featured legendary names such as Daisuke Namikawa and Tomokazu Seki in past seasons, highlights not only the voice actors' talents behind the microphone but also their natural and fun personalities.
The new season's cast blends both experienced veterans and rising stars of the industry. Junya Enoki, who brings the character Yuji Itadori to life in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, and Yoko Hikasa, the unforgettable voice of the K-On! series, will bring a fresh breath to the program. Additionally, young talent Kikunosuke Toya, who made a big breakthrough with his role as Denji in Chainsaw Man, will be paired with industry veteran Tomokazu Seki on Friday nights to offer viewers intergenerational entertainment. On Thursday nights, the fans' favorite duo Daisuke Namikawa and Hiro Shimono will continue to be on screen.
With the new season of the program, updates have also been made to special segments. While it was announced that the first "Connect" week will begin on May 11, the program's cute mascot Sobii is also returning with new adventures. With the "Walkers" segment, where voice actors go outside the studio, and the "Weekend" special broadcasts, the 2026 season looks like it will be full for anime and voice acting enthusiasts. Fans will be able to follow these unique performances that their favorite artists will display every week live on ABEMA.
