New Voices for the Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita Anime: Fairouz Ai and Honoka Inoue Join the Cast!

There is exciting news from the front of Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita (I Became the World's Strongest Witch), which features one of the most interesting concepts in the anime world recently! According to the announcement made on the official website of the series, two more popular voice actors have been added to the cast of the anime, which is scheduled to air in October 2026. Fairouz Ai, whom we know as Power from Chainsaw Man and Jolyne from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, will bring the red-haired warrior Elimina Manaflame to life. She will be joined by Honoka Inoue, the daughter of famous voice actor Kikuko Inoue and a rising star in recent times, in the role of the elf princess Erna.
Along with the announcement, new character introduction videos (PV) have been shared, giving fans the first clues about the appearances and voices of these two new characters in the anime. Our story revolves around Lorna Hermit (voiced by Azusa Tachibana), who comes from an aristocratic family but is kicked out of the house because she was born with an ability called "Internet," which is considered completely useless by her family. However, this "worthless" SSS-level ability of Lorna's actually allows her to access a guide site containing all the secrets, item locations, and strategies of the fantasy world she is in. Using a kind of "cheat code," Lorna quickly transforms into the world's strongest witch.
The production team behind the anime also consists of very experienced names. Joji Furuta, whom we know from productions such as The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments and Bad Girl, sits in the director's chair. Shoji Yonemura, who has worked on giant projects such as One Piece and Pokémon Journeys, is responsible for the script and composition of the series. Animation production is being carried out jointly by the Bridge studio and its subsidiary Aisle. The character designs bear the signature of Yuki Morimoto.
Looking at the history of the series, we see that the original story written by Mochimaru Sakaki began in 2022 on the popular web novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The series, which attracted great attention in a short time, began to be published as a light novel by Square Enix with illustrations by riritto, and 5 volumes have been published so far. In addition, the manga adaptation drawn by Tamaki Toga has reached 12 volumes in Kodansha's Monthly Magazine Base magazine. Blending both comedy and adventure elements, the production seems to be a candidate to be one of the most ambitious works of the 2026 fall season, especially for fans who love "isekai-like" plots that bring game mechanics into the real world.
