Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge Pre-registrations Have Begun: The Legendary Series Returns!

We have great news for Shakugan no Shana fans! One of the unforgettable classics of the anime world is crowning its 20th anniversary with a brand-new game. Pre-registrations have officially opened for Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge, developed by CTW Inc. and set to be published on the G123 platform. This title, which can be played on both mobile and PC via a browser without any downloads, calls fans back to Shana's world of flames.
Unlike the original story of the series, the game takes place in a new region called the "Shadow World," which has never been featured in either the anime or the light novel series. In Blaze Edge, an "Idle RPG," players will attempt to develop our main protagonist Shana into the most powerful Flame Haze. The game will feature over 20 characters, including familiar faces such as Yuji Sakai and Hecate. During battles, players will be able to collect materials, strengthen their equipment, and learn the series' signature "Unrestraint" (Jizaihō) abilities.
Attractive rewards await players who pre-register. If the number of pre-registrations exceeds the 50,000 threshold, the SSR Yukari Hirai character will be gifted to all players. Additionally, everyone who registers will instantly receive a phone wallpaper featuring exclusive game artwork. This project stands out as one of the most important parts of the 20th-anniversary celebrations of the anime series, which began in October 2025. The original light novel series, written by Yashichiro Takahashi and illustrated by Noizi Ito, became a huge phenomenon in the early 2000s and was adapted into a successful three-season anime by the J.C. Staff studio.
So, what's next? The development team stated that they are planning three major announcements regarding the game, and the first is this pre-registration process. The second major announcement is expected to be made on April 23, 2026. If you want to embark on new adventures with the melon bread-loving Shana, you can register now via the official website or social media accounts. This game aims to bring the community back together by combining the series' legacy with modern gaming mechanics.
