Sixth 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' Stage Play 'Hashira Training / Infinity Castle' Premieres

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans have exciting news! The sixth stage play adapted from Koyoharu Gotouge's manga, which has reached millions of readers worldwide, 'Sonoroku: Hashira Training / Infinity Castle Raid' (其ノ陸 柱稽古・無限城 突入) premiered in Tokyo on June 13. Along with the opening, rehearsal photos and cast comments from the first day press conference have also been released.
This new production tackles one of the series' most critical moments: Hashira Training and the subsequent breathtaking raid on the Infinity Castle. The play brings Tanjiro, Nezuko, and their friends' final showdown with the upper-rank demons to the stage, aiming to reflect the emotional intensity and action of the original manga. Speaking at the press conference, the production team said, “This chapter is a turning point in the series; we tried to create strong visuals and drama on stage.”
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba theater series, which has made a name for itself with five successful stage adaptations, first premiered in 2020. Each new play has expanded Gotouge's world and delved deeper into the characters. This sixth production, especially with a story approaching the manga's finale, offers an unmissable opportunity for both longtime fans and new viewers. The music and choreography bear the signature of the successful team from previous productions.
The event will be staged in multiple cities across Japan during its run. It is reported that tickets are in high demand, with some performances already sold out. Although no official announcement has been made regarding a digital release or international tour, fans seem likely to talk about this exciting stage version of the Demon Slayer universe for a long time. As the show continues, new photos and cast interviews may be shared in the coming days.
