Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Cast Revealed: Three New Names and Release Date Announced!

The most charismatic skeleton of the isekai world is returning! The news of the 2nd season, which fans of Skeleton Knight in Another World (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu) have been waiting for a long time, has finally been clarified. With the newly released teaser video, three important voice actors joining the cast were announced: Mitsuo Iwata, Kento Hama, and the master voice actor Hiroshi Naka. The series is preparing to meet its audience on July 4, 2026.
The characters that will be included in the story in the new season have also been revealed. We will hear Mitsuo Iwata in the role of Charos, Kento Hama as Ein, and Hiroshi Naka, whom we know from many legendary anime, bringing the character Hanzō to life. Especially Hiroshi Naka's experience in major productions such as One Piece and Naruto seems to be a great contribution to the character depth in the new season of the series. It is already a matter of curiosity what role these new characters will play in Arc's journey.
On the production side, some important changes stand out. While the first season was handled by Studio Kai and HORNETS, the animations for the 2nd season are being prepared by Aura Studio. While Katsumi Ono sits in the director's chair again, Toshizo Nemoto (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) has taken over the baton on the script side. This approximately four-year break following the first season, which aired in 2022, has created great anticipation among fans. How the studio change will reflect on the visual quality has received positive reactions with the first trailer.
Adapted from Ennki Hakari's popular light novel series, the anime follows the adventures of Arc, who wakes up in a game world with a skeleton avatar. In the new season, Arc, Ariane, and their loyal friend Ponta are expected to focus on critical story arcs such as 'Lord Crown' and 'Count Hilk'. These new episodes, where the dose of action and fantasy will increase, will be broadcast simultaneously worldwide via Crunchyroll. If you also love the isekai genre and fun character dynamics, don't forget to mark July on your calendars!
