Special Audio Dramas Coming for Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie: Get Ready for Kumiko and Reina's Story!

Kyoto Animation's ten-year musical journey continues to grow on the big screen with Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie Part 1 (Saishū Gakushō Hibike! Euphonium Zenpen). The fourth-week audience gifts for the film, which premiered in Japan on April 24, 2026, and received great interest, have been officially announced. Fans who go to the cinema between May 15 and May 21 will have the chance to get special audio drama download cards featuring the series' beloved characters.
These special cards to be distributed will provide access to audio dramas consisting of three different stories. The most notable of these dramas is the special episode focusing on the bond between the heart of the series, Kumiko Oumae and Reina Kousaka. Thanks to this audio content, fans will be able to witness the characters' daily interactions and deep emotional moments beyond the events of the film. Each card is supported by special visuals that carry collector's value and serve as an unforgettable memento for the series' loyal followers.
The Sound! Euphonium series has established an unshakable place for itself in the anime world with its visual quality and realistic character development since its first season began in 2015. Adapted from Ayano Takeda's novels and brought to life with the meticulous craftsmanship of Kyoto Animation studio, the production tells the story of the Kitauji High School Concert Band's journey to the national competition. The team led by chief director Tatsuya Ishihara epically concludes Kumiko's final struggle in her third year of high school and the heavy responsibility she took on as club president with this final film.
The first part of this two-part film project is also at the center of the series' 10th-anniversary celebrations. In the film, which was not shown in the television series
