Trailer and Final Visual Released for Sound! Euphonium Final Part 2

Sound! Euphonium series' long-awaited final film "Final Movement: Sound! Euphonium"'s second part's main trailer and final key visual were officially released. According to Japanese news site Natalie, the trailer contains many new scenes that will excite fans of the series.
This two-part cinema film produced by Kyoto Animation marks the climax of Ayano Takeda's novel series of the same name. The first part "Ensemble Contest" was released in summer 2023 and depicted Kumiko Oumae and her friends' struggles in their final year of high school. Now with the second part, the true finale of the series will hit the screen.
In the released trailer, particularly the solo competition between Kumiko and Mayu, the tension with Reina, and hints at the team's preparation for the national tournament are notable. In addition, special Movie Ticket designs featuring the characters wearing glasses were also revealed. These designs are regarded as a cute gesture reflecting the series' humorous side.
This film holds great significance for fans of the series. Sound! Euphonium started with its first television season in 2015 and quickly achieved cult status thanks to Kyoto Animation's high-quality production. Especially the detailed animation of musical performances and the emphasis on character development set it apart from other school-themed anime.
