The Most Anticipated Anime of the Spring 2026 Season Have Been Revealed: Re:ZERO Takes the Top Spot!
The Spring 2026 season in the anime world is officially upon us, and fan excitement has reached its peak! Popular anime platform Anime Corner has shared the results of its "Most Anticipated Anime of the Spring 2026 Season" poll, conducted between March 8 and March 30, 2026, with the participation of over 11,000 users. At the very top of the list, distancing itself from its competitors with 10.56% of the votes, is Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4.
Re:ZERO's fourth season is preparing to meet its audience on April 8, 2026. Produced by White Fox studio, the new season will consist of a total of 19 episodes and will be divided into two different story arcs. The series will begin in the spring season with the 11-episode "The Loss Arc" and will continue with the 8-episode "The Recapture Arc," which begins on August 12. The opening song "Recollect," created in collaboration with Konomi Suzuki and Ashnikko, has already created a huge buzz on social media.
In second place on the list is Witch Hat Atelier (Tongari Boushi no Atelier), the season's most ambitious new production, with 7.34% of the votes. Handled by BUG FILMS studio, the production is already being touted as an "anime of the year" contender due to its visual quality. Additionally, Daemons of the Shadow Realm (Yomi no Tsugai), the new work by Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa, has secured the 8th spot on the list with its premiere on April 4. The presence of giants like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 and Ascendance of a Bookworm on the list proves that Spring 2026 will be one of the most packed seasons for the anime industry in recent years.
