New Products Coming from Star Detective Precure! and Detective Conan Collaboration

Star Detective Precure! and Detective Conan are now appearing before fans with a collectible product line after their on-screen collaborations in recent months. According to Anime News Network, these two major detective series are coming together with specially designed toys, stationery, and accessories.
In fact, the foundations of this collaboration were laid with special episodes aired in fall 2025. Star Detective Precure! is a new branch of the Precure series that started in 2026, focusing on detective themes. The series follows star-themed detective girls solving mysteries. Detective Conan, on the other hand, is a legendary manga and anime series that has continued for over 30 years. Although both works share the detective genre, their tones are quite different: Precure is brighter, more colorful, and aimed at children, while Conan takes place in a more suspenseful world of crime.
This collaboration has caused a great stir thanks to both series appealing to a wide fan base. Especially in Japan, Precure fans are excited to see Conan characters in their beloved world. Among the announced products are figures of Precure characters posing with Conan's famous magnifying glass, special design notebooks, and T-shirts. Sales are planned to start in August 2026 and will be produced in limited quantities.
So why is this collaboration so important? The Precure series has previously collaborated with other productions from time to time, such as Yes! Precure 5 (Evet, Ben Bayanım!), but a joint product line of this scale with a long-established series like Detective Conan is happening for the first time. This is seen as part of Star Detective Precure!'s strategy to reach not only children but a wider anime audience. Additionally, since both series deal with detective themes, the products can be designed in line with their story universes.
In the coming period, this collaboration is expected to expand with DVD/Blu-ray sets or digital content. While fans are already sharing their collection dreams on social media, companies note that stocks may sell out quickly due to limited production. If you also love these two series, it's advisable to keep an eye on official retailers in Japan so you don't miss the products coming out in August.
