Time to Solve Mysteries in Yokohama: "Star Detective Precure!" Exhibition Opens Its Doors

Precure, one of the most established and beloved series in the anime world, continues to surprise its fans, this time with a detective theme. A special exhibition organized for the 23rd installment of the series, Star Detective Precure! (Meitantei Purikyua!), opens its doors in Yokohama starting May 15th. Titled "Star Detective Precure! Exhibition: Why? Mystery?! Invitation," this event aims to offer fans of the series an unforgettable experience.
Taking place within the Art Center NEW in Yokohama, this event promises much more than an ordinary exhibition. Visitors will act as detectives themselves in areas prepared with a "story-dive" concept, following clues to solve mysteries and stepping into the world of Cure Answer and Cure Mystique. The exhibition area will also feature special spots for taking photos with characters and exclusive artwork detailing the production process of the series.
There is also good news for collectors! Mini "bean book" (mamehon) style notebooks, acrylic stands, tea cup sets, and stickers reflecting the nostalgic spirit of 1999, all designed exclusively for the exhibition, will be on sale here for the first time. Additionally, specially designed postcards will be gifted to weekday visitors, and loyal fans who visit the exhibition a second time will receive surprise gifts such as a "Mystery File" (Clear File).
The legend, which was started by Toei Animation in 2004 with Futari wa Pretty Cure, has become an inseparable part of Japanese popular culture with its history spanning over 20 years. The newest season of the series, Star Detective Precure!, follows the adventures of Anna Akechi (Cure Answer), who travels back in time from 2027 to 1999.
