New Trailer for The Barbarian's Bride Anime: Premieres April 9!
The countdown for the eagerly awaited The Barbarian's Bride (known in Japanese as Himekishi wa Barbaroi no Yome) anime has officially begun! Ahead of the big premiere on April 9, 2026, the production team has shared a new trailer that blends elements of action, romance, and comedy. Along with this new promotional video, it was announced that experienced voice actress Aki Toyosaki has joined the cast as the character Alyssa Marcius.
The anime was originally scheduled to air in October 2025; however, the production team decided to postpone the release date to the spring 2026 season to further enhance the quality of the series. Animation production is being handled by Studio Jumondo, known for successful works like Villainess Level 99. Takayuki Tanaka sits in the director's chair, while the series' music is composed by Arisa Okehazama, whom we recognize from Jujutsu Kaisen.
