The Beginning After the End Season 2 English Dub Premieres April 15!

Crunchyroll has officially announced that the English dub for the second season of The Beginning After the End, one of the most talked-about productions in the fantasy world, will premiere on April 15, 2026. The new season, which will meet viewers starting tomorrow, is a source of great excitement for the series' loyal followers, and the platform has also shared the official voice cast for the new season. This rapid release, following the success of the first season, once again proves the series' global popularity.
Written by TurtleMe (Brandon Lee) and originally born as a web novel, The Beginning After the End quickly turned into a global phenomenon. The series, which tells the story of Grey, a powerful king in his past life, being reborn as Arthur Leywin on the magic-filled continent of Dicathen, reached millions of readers with its webtoon adaptation. Adapted into an anime by Studio A-Cat in 2025, the production is considered one of the most successful and rare examples of a Western-origin story finding a place in the Japanese anime industry.
The second season takes Arthur's coming-of-age story a step further, focusing on his time at Xyrus Academy. In this season, Arthur will not only develop his magical powers but also face dark conspiracies threatening the continent and the approaching footsteps of war. In the English voice cast, Amber May continues to voice Arthur, while Christopher Wehkamp continues to voice King Grey. Additionally, beloved names such as Abigail Blythe as Tessia and Colleen Clinkenbeard as Alice continue in their roles.
The series' creator, TurtleMe, states that the anime adaptation has been a great learning process for him and that he is proud to see his story come to life in this new medium. Taking into account the fan feedback following the first season, the production team signals that the action scenes and visual quality have been further elevated in Season 2. The Beginning After the End seems set to continue captivating both long-time readers of the novel and viewers new to the world of anime.
