Release Date and New Visuals Announced for 'Clean and Beautiful Transfer Student' Anime

The Tenbin (official title “The Clean and Beautiful Transfer Student Who Is My Childhood Friend I Used to Think Was a Boy”) anime will premiere in Japan on July 6, 2024. The production team today shared the second key visual and second promotional video (PV). The visual features the main characters as well as a new girl character.
The anime's ending theme will be “Tilt” performed by the voice actor duo harmoe. harmoe previously sang for works like “Majo no Tabitabi”. The opening theme had been announced earlier: “Hanpen na Jibun” by the group ≠ME.
The series is a light novel adaptation originally written by Mochizuki Tsubasa and illustrated by Mizushima Sorahiko. The story follows a high school student who grew up thinking his childhood friend was a boy, only to discover years later that the beautiful transfer student who joins his class is that very friend. The romantic comedy work became an internet phenomenon especially for its long title.
The anime is directed by Studio A-Cat with Mitsutoshi Satō as director. With only days left until the series premiere, fans are excited by the new visuals. The anime is expected to air regularly every week after the first episode, and it will be a must-watch for light novel readers and romantic comedy fans alike.
