The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Anime Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary: New Visual and Fan Events Announced

The beloved psychic comedy series The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan) is celebrating its 10th anniversary in the anime world with great enthusiasm! First hitting screens in 2016 and quickly becoming a cult classic with its unique humor, the production has shared a new visual to celebrate this special milestone that will excite fans. The visual features Saiki Kusuo, who is as always looking for peace but surrounded by his chaotic friends, as well as unforgettable characters from the series such as Riki Nendo, Shun Kaido, Kokomi Teruhashi, and Aren Kuboyasu.
The celebrations are not limited to just a visual; series creator Shuichi Aso, director Hiroaki Sakurai, and the legendary voice actor who voices the main character, Hiroshi Kamiya, released emotional and fun messages in honor of the 10th anniversary. In particular, Hiroshi Kamiya's comments on the years he spent voicing Saiki's famous fast and monotonous inner voice garnered great interest among fans. The manga adventure, which began in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2012, turned into a global phenomenon with its 2016 anime adaptation, and then solidified its success with the Netflix original series Reawakened (Ψ-shidou-hen).
The most exciting news for fans is the "Ψ-oshi" (Most Recommended) episode poll. In this massive vote starting on May 1, 2026, the most beloved episodes will be chosen from a total of 280 segments of the series. The voting will be held in different categories such as "most heart-pounding," "most annoying," and "most shocking." The winning episodes will be available to watch for free on Jump Channel for a limited time starting August 16. It was also announced that new licensed products exclusive to the most popular episodes will be put on sale.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. holds a special place in the anime world, going beyond being just a comedy anime with its meta-humor that mocks the clichés of the genre. The production, which bears the signature of J.C.Staff studio, is remembered especially for Hiroshi Kamiya's incredibly fast speaking pace and the absurd personalities of the characters. The series, which manages to remain fresh and funny even after 10 years, takes both old fans on a nostalgic journey with these celebrations and offers new viewers a great excuse to enter this "disastrous" world.
