The long-awaited good news for The Elusive Samurai (Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi) fans has finally arrived! According to the official announcement, the new season will meet the audience in July 2026. The series bears the signature of legendary mangaka Yusei Matsui, the creator of hit works that made a huge impact worldwide, such as Assassination Classroom and Neuro: Supernatural Detective. Brought to life by the CloverWorks studio, the anime received full marks from critics for the high-quality visuals and fluid fight scenes it offered in its first season. The story follows young heir Tokiyuki Hojo, who survives the fall of the Kamakura Shogunate in 1333, as he uses his greatest talents—"running away" and "hiding"—instead of fighting to take revenge for his family.
