New Trailer for The Ogre's Bride Anime: The Countdown to July 2026 Has Begun!

Supernatural romance continues to take the anime world by storm! The new trailer released for the highly anticipated The Ogre's Bride (known in Japanese as Oni no Hanayome) brings with it many details that will excite fans of the series. According to the official announcement, the series will meet viewers in July 2026. The new trailer not only offers a visual feast but also introduces three important names joining the voice cast: Taito Ban (as Takamichi Araki), Nobunaga Shimazaki (as Ouga Kiyama), and Aya Endō (as Sakurako Kiyama).
The story of the series takes place in a modern Japan where humans and spiritual beings called Ayakashi coexist. Our main character, Yuzu Shinonome, is an ordinary high school student who lives in the shadow of her sister, who was neglected by her family and chosen as the bride of a fox spirit. However, Yuzu's life changes completely when she meets Reiya Kiryuin, a breathtakingly beautiful leader of one of the most powerful Ayakashi clans. As soon as Reiya sees Yuzu, he declares that she is his bride. This "Ayakashi-style Cinderella story" follows Yuzu's journey as she escapes her loveless past and encounters absolute love.
A very ambitious team is working on the production side of the anime. The animation is being prepared by the Colored Pencil Animation Japan studio, while Kazuhito Ōmiya sits in the director's chair. The music for the series is entrusted to master composer Masaru Yokoyama, known for works such as Your Lie in April and Horimiya. The lead roles feature star names from the anime world, Saori Hayami (Yuzu) and Yuichiro Umehara.
