The Villager of Level 999 Anime Starts July 1: New Trailer, Cast, and Ending Song Announced

The long-awaited main trailer for The Villager of Level 999 anime has finally been released. The production company announced alongside the trailer that the anime will premiere in Japan on July 1. Additionally, new cast members and details of the ending theme song were revealed.
The trailer gives a brief look at the adventures of our protagonist, who was born as an ordinary villager but raised his level to 999. The story revolves around this villager who single-handedly upsets the balance of power in a world where everyone else is weak. The released footage reflects the spirit of the series with both comedic and action-packed scenes.
The ending song "HP" will be performed by J-pop artist Yukimura. Yukimura's energetic vocals perfectly match the cheerful tone of the series. The opening theme, previously announced as "Level no Bouken" (Artist: Amatsuki), will serve as the opening piece. Additionally, new character designs and background art were shown for the first time alongside the trailer.
The anime is directed by Yoshihiro Hiramine (Kanojo mo Kanojo). Series composition is handled by Yukie Sugawara (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War). Character designs are by Masahiro Sekiguchi (The Rising of the Shield Hero). The production studio is Silver Link (Bofuri, Chillin' in My 30s). This team aims to bring the humorous and warm atmosphere of the light novel series to the screen.
The Villager of Level 999 is a popular light novel series originally written by Kaito and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe. Since its start in 2020, it has gained a large fanbase in Japan. The manga adaptation has also received similar attention. Anime fans are excited to see this unique 'OP villager' concept in motion for the first time.
