Thunder 3 Anime Starts on July 8: Worldwide Release on Netflix

Thunder 3 anime countdown has begun! The adaptation of Yuki Ikeda's manga will premiere on July 8, 2025 on Fuji TV's prestigious +Ultra slot. The same day, it will be exclusively released worldwide on Netflix. Official sources have also shared the second promotional video and details about the ending song.
The ending theme will be performed by Japanese musician 音羽-otoha-. While the song title has not been announced yet, the second PV released showcases both action-packed scenes and character dynamics. The opening song had been announced earlier.
The manga is written and illustrated by Yuki Ikeda. The series follows a young team called the "Three Brothers" as they discover superpowers and use them to fight mysterious events threatening their city. Ikeda's earlier short works published on Shonen Jump+ had attracted attention; Thunder 3 stands out as his first long-running series. The mangaka quickly built a fanbase with his fluid art and character designs.
The +Ultra slot is known as Fuji TV's late-night slot hosting experimental and creative productions. Previously, internationally acclaimed anime such as Beastars, ID: INVADED, and B: The Beginning have aired in this slot. Thunder 3 is expected to follow the same quality standard. Netflix's exclusive worldwide streaming rights will allow the series to be watched simultaneously in many countries, including Turkey.
Fans are already eagerly waiting, but the number of seasons or total episodes has not been announced yet. It is estimated that the first volumes of the manga series will be adapted. As the anime's release date approaches, additional trailers and character introductions will continue to come. If you're looking for an action-comedy blended with superpowers, don't forget to add Thunder 3 to your calendar!
