Tokyo Revengers Returns with 50-Minute Event at Pony Canyon Stage at AnimeJapan 2026

Tokyo Revengers returns with a special 50-minute stage show at the Pony Canyon booth at the AnimeJapan fair, to be held in March 2026. The event promises both entertaining games and exciting announcements about the series' future. Since Anime Japan is, as every year, an important platform where producers announce new projects, this event is a great opportunity, especially for viewers wondering about the fate of the series after the third season.
Created by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers is a popular manga that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2017 to 2022 and completed in 31 volumes. The anime adaptation by Liden Films first aired in 2021, followed by Christmas Showdown Arc (2023) and Tenjiku Arc (2023-2024). The recently aired Tenjiku Arc marked a major turning point in the story, leaving viewers with the fate of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Therefore, fans are eagerly awaiting a new season that has yet to be announced.
The 50-minute event at AnimeJapan 2026 seems designed exactly to fill this gap. According to Anime News Network, the event at the Pony Canyon stage will focus on 'entertainment and games' but may also include clues about the new season. Pony Canyon holds the music and distribution rights for the series; previously, they shared new season trailers at similar events at AnimeJapan 2023 and 2024. Therefore, this year's show is expected to offer a similar surprise.
Although it has not yet been officially confirmed whether Tokyo Revengers will get a new season, sources in the anime industry indicate that the series' popularity remains very high and that critical arcs from the manga, such as the Kanto Manji Arc, are being prepared for animation. The AnimeJapan 2026 event strengthens this theory. Event dates and participant details will be clarified in the coming months. Tokyo Revengers fans should mark their calendars now – perhaps the first trailer for the new season will be shown on this stage.
