Jujutsu Kaisen Game from Vampire Survivors Developer: Coming in 2026
The team behind Vampire Survivors, poncle, is back with a project that will excite Jujutsu Kaisen fans. The game titled Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton will be released in 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms. The announcement was made in a report by Anime News Network today (June 9, 2025).
As the name suggests, the game will be a 'survivor' type production. The successful formula of Vampire Survivors – surviving waves of enemies and character development – is now combined with the cursed energy and characters of Jujutsu Kaisen. In the game, we will be able to control iconic characters such as Yuji Itadori, Gojo Satoru, and Fushiguro, and special attacks and cursed techniques will also be included.
This collaboration is significant as it marks the first time the independent game world and a major anime series have come into such close contact. Vampire Survivors attracted millions of players when it entered early access in 2022 and became a pioneer of its genre with its simplicity and depth. The poncle team plans to adapt this 'survivor-like' mechanic to the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, unlike other anime games before.
