New Promotional Video for Victoria of Many Faces Anime: 8 Main Characters Take the Stage!
The countdown has accelerated for Victoria of Many Faces (known in Japanese as Tefuda ga Ōme no Victoria), one of the most anticipated productions of this summer in the anime world! Ahead of the grand premiere on July 7, the production team shared a new short promotional video that is sure to excite fans. This new video puts the spotlight on eight different characters who will play key roles in the series' story, offering viewers their first hints about the characters' personalities and voice acting.
The series has already created a huge buzz on social media with a special online preview held on June 27. Our story revolves around Chloe, one of the most talented spies in the Kingdom of Hagl. After being betrayed by her boss, Chloe fakes her own death and decides to start a new life as an ordinary citizen named Victoria Sellers in the neighboring kingdom of Ashberry. However, Victoria's dream of a peaceful life is soon interrupted as her old espionage skills prove to be all too useful in civilian life, and she suddenly finds herself caught up in events involving the kingdom's prince and mysterious organizations.
The project, brought to life by Studio DEEN, is directed by Nobukage Kimura, whom we know from productions such as I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level. While character designs are entrusted to Mina Ōsawa, the series' music is composed by Moe Hyūga. The voice cast features talented names such as Chika Anzai (Victoria), Shion Wakayama (Nonna), and Yōhei Azakami (Jeffrey) in the lead roles. Additionally, characters voiced by master actors such as Kenji Nojima (Lancome), Daisuke Ono (Edward Asher), and Makoto Furukawa (Zaharo) also stand out in the new video.
Adapted from the original light novel series written by Syuu and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi, the production stands out with its unique style that blends spy action with slice-of-life elements. Starting as a web novel in 2021, this adventure quickly reached a wide fan base with both printed novels and manga adaptations drawn by Komo Ushino. The series' opening theme song will be "Isshin" performed by Haku, and the ending theme song will be "En no Tsuki" by the group KI_EN.
