Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 4 Begins: The Mysterious 13th Student Finally Takes the Stage!

Iruma Suzuki's adventures in the demon world are continuing at full speed! Adapted from Osamu Nishi's popular manga series, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) is returning to screens on April 4, 2026, with its 4th season after a long wait. The images and summary shared from the first episode of the new season confirmed that the 13th classmate, Purson Soi—whom fans have noticed like a shadow in the background for years but have been waiting to see join the story—will be officially introduced. This mysterious character, who will be voiced by Setsuo Ito (known for Mob Psycho 100), also ignites the 'Music Festival' arc, one of the most beloved parts of the series.
This new season will focus on the Music Festival arc, one of the most exciting and emotional periods of the manga. Iruma and the members of the Misfit Class are facing an seemingly impossible task to protect the legendary 'Royal One' classroom: the entire class must reach Rank 4 (Daleth) by the end of the term. However, the shy nature of Purson Soi, whose very existence is often forgotten, and his family's talent for avoiding attention might be the biggest obstacle or the secret weapon in the class's quest to reach this grand goal. How the class will achieve harmony in this challenging test is already a subject of great curiosity.
Produced by Bandai Namco Pictures, the anime has maintained a consistent track record of success since its debut in 2019. Series creator Osamu Nishi has been building this colorful world in Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine since 2017. With over 20 million copies sold worldwide as of March 2026, the manga has gone beyond being just a comedy series, reaching a massive fan base with its themes of character development and friendship. Ayaka Tsujihashi sits in the director's chair for the 4th season, while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu continues to handle the series composition, ensuring that the energetic and sincere atmosphere of the series we know is preserved.
For fans, this season will not only be the introduction of a new character but also a visual feast where Iruma's leadership qualities and the class's bond with each other will be tested. In the episodes where musical performances will be at the forefront, the opening song 'Ichi Ni no San' performed by the band Penthouse will accompany us. If you have missed the cheerful atmosphere of this demon school and the antics of the Misfit Class, don't forget to mark this new marathon starting on April 4 on your calendar. Let's see what kind of melody will shake the underworld when all 13 demons take the stage!
