Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Details: Returning with a New Voice Actor and Original Scenes!

As fans of the beloved fantasy and action series Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) continue their wait, important information regarding the second season has begun to emerge. According to the official announcement, the new season, which will begin with the series' 13th episode, will feature anime-original scenes that were not present in the original manga. Additionally, the veteran artist Mai Nakahara has been cast to voice one of the series' key characters, Crailwi Sera.
Mai Nakahara is a highly experienced name in the anime world, known for legendary roles such as Clannad (Nagisa Furukawa) and Higurashi (Rena Ryuugu). The addition of this master voice actor to the cast highlights the importance of the Crailwi Sera character in the story. As an "Arbiter" capable of using multiple types of magic such as fire, water, and wind, this high-ranking mage will play a critical role in Will Serfort's challenging struggle to become a Magia Vander.
The name behind the series is Fujino Omori, the author of the globally successful Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) series. The production, with art by Toshi Aoi, tells the epic story of Will, who lacks magical ability but strives to reach the top through swordsmanship. The series, which received great acclaim for its visual quality and fluid action scenes in its first season, continues to be brought to life through the collaboration of Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures studios.
The original content to be featured in the first episode of the second season will likely bridge the gap between the first season finale and the new arc, or add depth to character development. In the new season, scheduled to premiere on April 12, 2026, Will's graduation exams and his interactions with the Magia Vander members will be at the center of the story. Fans are already counting down the days to see how Will's hybrid fighting style will evolve and whether he will be able to reach his childhood friend Elfaria.
