Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Opening Video Released: Will Serfort's Adventure Continues!

Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria), one of the recent favorites for fantasy action fans, has returned to screens with its second season. With the start of the new episodes, the production team shared the highly anticipated season 2 opening movie through official channels. Premiering on April 12, 2026, the new season aims to take the high tempo and visual quality of the first season to the next level.
The opening song for the new season is "BELIEVERS", performed by the popular rock band ASH DA HERO. While the song reflects the series' main themes of "courage" and "never giving up," the released video focuses on Will Serfort's challenging struggle at Regarden Magic Academy and his determination to become a Magia Vander. The ending theme of the series features the track "Reachlight", performed by Shiyui.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword is written by Fujino Omori, the author of the world-famous Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) series. The story follows Will, who lacks magical ability but possesses extraordinary sword skills, as he climbs to the pinnacle of the magic world to keep a promise he made to his childhood friend, Elfaria Alvis Tenere. The production, which made a big splash in the summer of 2024 with its first season, drew attention especially for its fluid action scenes directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, known for his work on Black Clover.
In the second season, the production chair is once again held by the Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures studios. Tatsuya Yoshihara serves as the chief director this time, while Hideaki Nakano takes on the role of director. For fans, this season is of great importance to see how Will's swordsmanship will shake the magic hierarchy and how the mysteries of the Mercedes Caulis tower will be unraveled. New episodes will continue to meet viewers every Sunday on Crunchyroll.
