Along with the newly released trailer, important names joining the series' voice cast were also announced. The cast also includes experienced names such as Nobuo Tobita (Nijo Yoshimoto) and Mamiko Noto (Nariko), as well as original characters not present in the manga, Chiharu (Inori Minase) and Satsuki (Hazuki Seto). World is Dancing is a story of growth and art set in the turbulent period of 1374. The production, which focuses on the youth of Zeami Motokiyo (Oniyasha), who would later go down in history as the founder of modern Noh theater, explores the question, "Why do people dance?" Oniyasha, who grew up in the shadow of his father Kan'ami (Katsuyuki Konishi), the leader of a sarugaku theater group, develops his own artistic language by breaking traditions, a process intertwined with the political struggles of the era.
Behind the production is Cypic (formerly CygamesPictures) studio, known for its visual quality. In the director's chair is The Great Passage
