You and I Are Polar Opposites (known in Japanese as Seihantai na Kimi to Boku) has exciting news for its fans. The third promotional video for the second season has been released, and it has been announced that the ending song will be performed by Mega Shinnosuke.
The new video offers hints about how Suzuki and Tani's contrasting characters will find harmony this time. The track titled “Unmei no Kimi” (The One Destined for You), performed by singer-songwriter Mega Shinnosuke, has been set as the season's ending theme. Mega Shinnosuke is also known for his contributions to works such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Spy x Family.
As you may recall, You and I Are Polar Opposites aired its first season from January to March 2024 and received full marks from viewers. Adapted from Kocha Agasawa's popular manga of the same name, the series has been serialized on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform since 2022. The first season successfully brought to screen the sweet conflict between Suzuki's energetic and outgoing personality and Tani's quiet and introverted nature.
