A Giant Collaboration in the Manga World: A New Series from Chako Abeno, Kitsune Tennoji, and Nagato Yamada

Three giants of the manga world have joined forces for a brand-new project that is sure to excite readers. Chako Abeno, Kitsune Tennoji, and Nagato Yamada are working on a fantasy series that will be published on Kodansha's Young Magazine Web platform. Debuting with its first chapter on April 18, this new series has already become one of the most anticipated works of the year for fans of the isekai and fantasy genres.
The biggest factor that makes this project special is the experience of the creative team behind it. Chako Abeno is a name who has proven her visual mastery with Trinity Seven: Liese Chronicle, as well as works with high emotional depth like Sola and White Album. Joining her is Kitsune Tennoji, known for his popular series Upotte!!, where he personified weapons, and the classic Eden's Bowy. With Nagato Yamada also joining the team, a multi-layered story blending different narrative styles awaits us.
The full title of the series is quite long and intriguing: Academy Saikyo no Mob Healer ~Shi ni Ge Sekai no Mob ni Tenseishita Ore wa, Hazura Job (Healer) to Gensaku Chishiki de Musōsuru~. The story revolves around a character who is reincarnated as an ordinary background character (mob) in a "death game" world. Although our hero initially possesses the "trash" healer job, he will progress toward becoming the strongest person in the academy using his knowledge of the game's original story.
Such "all-star" collaborations usually produce results that push the boundaries of the genre and expand the fanbase. Especially in this period where competition in the isekai genre is increasing, how such an experienced team will handle the "rise of the weak character" theme is a matter of great curiosity. Following the big launch on April 18, the community has already begun discussing whether the series will continue weekly or monthly, and how long one might have to wait for a potential anime adaptation.
