Sakamoto Days Exhibition Details Revealed: Sakamoto Store Becomes Reality!

Yuto Suzuki's manga Sakamoto Days, which has taken the world by storm, is preparing for a massive exhibition that will thrill its fans. The "SAKAMOTO DAYS Exhibition: Destruction and Creation," which will take place at Gallery AaMo in Tokyo Dome City from July 17 to September 6, 2026, will bring the series' iconic locations and action-packed atmosphere into the physical world. The most striking feature of the exhibition is that the Sakamoto Store, where the main character Taro Sakamoto lives his retirement life, will be reconstructed at a 1:1 scale. Visitors will feel like they are part of the manga as they walk through this shop, which is considered the heart of the series.
The exhibition will feature not only the locations but also very special details about the creative process. Visitors will be able to closely examine the personal items Yuto Suzuki uses while drawing and over 80 never-before-seen draft works. In addition, the event, which will showcase more than 150 color illustrations, has some very creative merchandise in store for fans. In particular, ramen bowl-shaped bags reflecting the series' sense of humor, accessories dedicated to the characters Shin and Lu, and special boxed gift sets have already made it onto collectors' lists. The exhibition area will be equipped with special installations reminiscent of the high-tempo fight scenes that have become the series' signature.
Having surpassed 15 million copies sold since its journey began in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2020, Sakamoto Days is considered one of the most unique examples of the modern Shonen genre. The series, which cemented its popularity with the anime adaptation by TMS Entertainment released in 2025, is currently also on the agenda with its live-action feature film hitting theaters in April 2026. The fact that the exhibition will open right after the film means that fans will experience a true "Sakamoto year." Yuto Suzuki's detailed drawing style and cinematic storytelling are transformed into such a comprehensive physical experience for the first time with this exhibition.
This exhibition is seen not only as a visual feast but also as one of the biggest celebrations of the Sakamoto Days universe. While ticket sales will begin gradually as of April, "magazine-style stickers" will be gifted to those who attend the exhibition. Additionally, sections dedicated to The Order will shed light on the most mysterious characters of the series. If you are a fan of the epic struggles Sakamoto fights while staying true to his "no-kill" rule, this exhibition offers an unmissable opportunity to dive deep into the world of the series.
