Netflix's New Webtoon Adaptation 'Teach You A Lesson' Premieres on June 5

Netflix has announced that its highly anticipated new live-action series Teach You A Lesson will premiere worldwide on June 5, 2026. This series is based on the popular Naver Webtoon Get Schooled (original title 참교육 - Chamgyoyuk) and tells the story of a unit that brings unconventional solutions to problems in the education system.
The series is set in a South Korean education system where teacher authority has been shaken, and student violence and parental interference have increased. In this chaotic environment, the Education Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), established within the Ministry of Education, steps in. The bureau's mission is to discipline wayward students and reform the education system using physical intervention and unconventional methods. The lead role is played by veteran actor Kim Moo-yul, who portrays Na Hwa-jin, the bureau's field supervisor.
In addition to Kim Moo-yul, the cast of Teach You A Lesson includes other notable names. Lee Sung-min plays Choi Gang-seok, the Minister of Education and founder of the ERPB; Jin Ki-joo plays Im Han-rim, a former special forces soldier and now a bureau supervisor; and Pyo Ji-hoon (P.O) from the group Block B plays Bong Geun-dae, the bureau's brilliant civil servant. The series is directed by Hong Jong-chan, known for works such as Juvenile Justice and Mr. Plankton, while the screenplay is written by Lee Nam-kyu (Behind Your Touch, The Light in Your Eyes, Daily Dose of Sunshine), Kim Da-hee, and Moon Jong-ho.
